Susan Trott

Susan Trott lives in Charleston, SC. She is inspired by the historic architecture there and in the small coastal towns like Georgetown and Beaufort. She works mostly in oil and enjoys painting plein air but also works from her studio using an archive of photos she has taken over a period of forty years. More recently she has focused on painted paper collage using acrylic paint and a more cubist approach.

Susan attended the art school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and holds a degree in art from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. She is a member of the Charleston Artist Guild.
