Art Harbor Gallery, The Cottage, The Georgetown Art Gallery, and D Newks Southern Artisan Cooperative are partnering to host another ‘En Plein Air’ event in conjunction with the Georgetown Business Association Music In The Park. A number of local artists will be painting “En Plein Air” (a style of painting outside, popularized in the 19th-century by the French impressionist school of painters) on the sidewalks of Georgetown’s historic downtown district from Noon until 3:30 pm (weather permitting).
Completed works will be displayed at Francis Marion Park at Front St. & Broad St. from 4 PM until 6 PM. Completed works will be available to either view or purchase at each artist’s home gallery. The Musical group Konnection will then entertain the crowd from 6 pm – 9 pm. We look forward to seeing you!
